Had a day off today, took the opportunity to take a ride up the Yorkshire coast to Scarbrough. The picture was taken and blogged by iPhone, don’t you just love the technology.

Theirs nothing like a walk on the beach in winter to clear the mind, and of course I took my camera. This is the coast at Hornsea were I grew up, my parents still live their, so when I visit them I usually take the opportunity to ‘See the Sea’.

I grew up in Hornsea, and as a youngster had a weekend job working on the rowing boats at the Mere, when visiting my parents I usually toss a coin and either have a walk on the beach or take a look at the Mere, the birds are always happy to see you!
