Ive had a busy time this week photographing students for 2013/14 prospectus at Bishop Burton College, hears a couple of favorites from last year, Ryan Walker working on his diploma in Fish Management and Terri Thorns who studied Public Services.

Here’s a couple of photographs of Alexandra Dock, Hull. The top image was taken in 1983 when the site was mothballed, the second image taken yesterday shows how the river defences have beed added to hold back the tide should it ever threaten to flood.

As a photographer its always good to see your pictures ‘Up in Lights’ or in this instance hanging on a lampost! I’m please to say Hull City Council are using my Terrarium – Dance in a bubble 2012 Freedom Festival photograph around the city. The image is being used for ‘Hull2013′ in various media promoting the Rugby League World Cup games taking place in Hull later in the year.

Hull Industries featured in ‘The Times’ newspaper last week in a supplement sponsored by Hull Bondholders. One of the companies was HOTA, and I was pleased to have one of my images featured.
