100 Ton Steam Crane, Alexandra Dock Hull

An interesting evening was had by invitees to the opening of The 1 Gallery located at Humber Quays 2 on the Hull Marina. Exhibiting maritime artist Stuart Taylor showed his large Tradewind’s Collection of paintings. This picture dates back to 1983, taken in the medical centre on St Andrews dock in Hull. The two medical staff in the picture carefully laid out the contents of a trawlers medical chest which could prove to be a lifesaver at sea.
